The earth and humanity are in the middle of an ever faster growing crisis situation: financial crises, economic crises, energy crises, climate crisis. We are living in times of mega-problems for which there are no simple, quick solutions.
Simultaneous with the approaching breakdown of the old, something new is beginning to grow. There is a worldwide need for new solutions, and in many places people have begun to build them concretely.
In our experience, the new lies in the establishment of holistic and globally applicable cultural models that are based on human trust and regional self-sufficiency at the highest possible level of environmentally friendly, technical and ecological knowledge that exists today. This includes the reconnection of humans with the places where they live and the establishment of self-sufficient supplies of water, food, energy and living structures. It also means that humans embed themselves in the natural ecosystem in which they live and that they manage their resources (soil, water, air, animals and plants) autonomously. And it especially includes the reconnection of human beings with their original sources of life: love, sexuality, community, trust, truth, mutual support, research, knowledge and meaningful work.
The founders and co-workers of Tamera are working to research and realize a worldwide applicable model for such a way of living and structure of economy.
To this end, Tamera is cooperating with experts who are working worldwide in the areas of solar technology, permaculture, self-sufficient food production, water supply, biological waste water treatment, building with regional building materials and treatment of animals.
In addition to these research projects, which are being implemented in Tamera, we are networking with other peace centres on earth that are located in crisis-torn areas. We are establishing a “Global Campus”, a network of training centres for inner and outer peace knowledge. During the last 6 years, annual peace pilgrimages have been held in these countries.
Several of our projects have already been carried out or are under construction. Many more are being planned.
This year we are planning to realize the following projects:
- Continued construction of our water landscape and permaculture for the restoration of the landscape and the creation of a self-sufficient food supply, facilitated by Sepp Holzer.
- Continued installation of our solar test field with the technologies of Jürgen Kleinwächter, including the construction of a workshop
- Conducting seminars for the “Global Campus”, with participants from our peace network.
