The horse work in Tamera serves the research into coming to a trustful and healing contact between horse and human being. In the concrete work with the horses it is mainly about a finer kind of contact, trust and respectful perception.
The target is not to learn horse back riding as quickly as possible, but to recognise what being we are facing, and how we can communicate in a fine way with it.
Our eleven horses live freely on large pastures all year round. They have an open stable, to which they can go when necessary. As a principle the horses are ridden without bit and mostly without saddle. The goal is to also ride without bridle. This supposes a precise and fine body language and a reliable understanding between horse and human being.
