INVITATION Solar Energy Open Day Tamera

April 12th 2014 9:30 to 17:00

You are invited to join Tamera's Energy-Technology team, and special guest Prof. Celestino Ruivo from the University of Algarve, for a day's tours and practical demonstrations. We will be based in Tamera's energy testfield, where we will examine the technologies, build simple solar cookers together and visit the new workshop, with a chance to contribute financially to its success. Lunch will be cooked using the sun and/or biogas renewable energy.
Intended for newcomers and seasoned technologists alike.

Tamera's work integrates low-temperature Stirling Engines developed by JŁrgen Kleinwšchter, concentrating optics, precision mirrors, biogas and other decentral energy technologies into a living model for a peaceful future in cooperation with nature and with each other.

Prof. Celestino Ruivo has developed solar cookers and advocated solar cooking for over a decade. He will present a practical workshop on simple solar cooker construction.

Please email us at solarvillage(at)tamera.org by 10th April so that we know how many people are coming. Please arrive by 9:30 on the day of the event.

There is no fee for the day. Donations to help finance the new workshop are very welcome.
