Watch: Documentary on One Billion Rising 2020 in Odemira’s Women’s Prison
One Billion Rising is a mass movement to demand an end to violence against women and girls. Every February 14, countless groups around the world rise in dance and celebration. We’ve participated every year since 2014. In 2020, 5 women from Tamera joined with the inmates from Odemira Women’s Prison. The following 16min documentary shows the transformational process they underwent together while preparing for and engaging in the project.
