Community Members
Around 160 community members currently live in Tamera, from the newborns to our elders in their 80s. We come from diverse nationalities, cultures and religions and have gathered here in southern Portugal to create a seed for a new planetary community. Solidarity in commitment to healing the Earth is what holds us together through our imperfections and challenges.
The Tamera community is a living organism, an open system. Tamera doesn’t end at the borders of our property – it reaches out into the world. Many of those in our global network belong as much to the community as do the people, animals and plants that live on this land.
