Seed Harvest Camp

August 23rd - September 2nd, 2017

Summer time is seed time: Nature now presents a variety of seeds in abundance.

Private seed recovery is a varied activity which is also highly explosive in a political sense. During this work camp, you will be able to study it in many different aspects:

We stroll through the gardens and harvest everything that has just ripened. In the shady seed house, we dry and process the seeds, clean them and store them for the next growing season, and we sow and plant the first autumn crops, which will then bear new seeds in the coming year.

Through this practical work we learn a lot about how decentralized autonomy in the area of food and seeds may look like: we see this as a very crucial part of building a peace culture of independent people.
