Youth Camp

We invite young people aged between 14 and 17 to join us for 2 weeks of a full-on community experience at our Children’s Place, accompanied by our team of youth facilitators. Experiencing the fragility of our current capitalist system and the global climate disruption, the necessity of building alternative cultures is evident. We find ourselves at a crucial point where we can make a decision for our future. Join us as we look into the world and think about what a meaningful response to our global crisis could be, as we research how to build trust between us, using creative ways to express our ideas, passion and joy about a future we can believe in.

Program Details

We will work for 2 weeks as a group of young people on concrete responses to the current crisis. Imagine if we would join forces in trust for life as an alternative to the current narrative, which is bound to fear and destruction!
The youth camp is an intense community time and offers opportunities for sharing, listening and reflecting each other as human beings. We will use Forum, girls and boys rounds and a mix of different creative styles and formats to create trust among us and to find out more about who we are, our highest potential and what is important to us in these times.
We will get to know the work of inspiring and remarkable peace workers and activists from around the world as well as the peace and community knowledge of Tamera.
This year we want to strengthen the cooperation between the youth groups of intentional communities and social projects.
